Ultrasonic cleaning uses cavitation bubbles induced by high frequency pressure (sound) waves to agitate a liquid. The agitation produces high forces on contaminants adhering to substrates like metals, plastics, glass, rubber, and ceramics.
This action also penetrates blind holes, cracks, and recesses. The intention is to thoroughly remove all traces of contamination tightly adhering or embedded onto solid surfaces.
Using ultrasonic sound waves to clean carburettors is a far superior method than sprays, chemicals or high pressure air.
We use a 1kw 28-litre ultrasonic cleaner to remove all oil and debris from carburettors. We are experienced with motorcycle, car, classic car, performance, marine and are able to strip and re-build them for an extra fee (any gaskets and replacement jets to be supplied by the customer). Our tanks will accommodate a bank of carburettors up to 18” long.
